Brighton 4 Shoreham 2 With a chance to steal the Festival title by beating their League 1 rivals Shoreham were stunned with a dominant committed and powerful first half from Brighton who lead 3 – 0 at half time. Shoreham responded with a show of their characteristic fight, clawing back 2 tries and looking strongest to get level until a breakaway opposition try sealed the match and Festival win for the Brighton side .
