Shoreham Under 13's v Hove Under 13's

What an amazing day for the boys first friendly match of there season against Hove.

The boys had a great start to the day with some great train and some skills for the days match. It was really great for the rest of the club to do a guard of honour for our boys today. It gave them the determination that they needed for the match ahead.

They started with some great defence. The ball moved the full length of the pitch with some great defence work from both side. Lots of turning over of the ball. Hove managed to score a try and then converted it. We carried on with some more great team work but Hove moaned to score a further 3 tries but only managed to convert a further 1of those tries.

The second half was a totally different game. Where as the first half Hove dominated the pitch. Shoreham came out and took control. The conceded one try and they some amazing tackling from Rudy and a great run helped Ray Carter score the first try and Danny Potter converted it. We proceeded to stay focused and Ben score a further try. There was a lots more great play a Rudy Heasman score another try just before the final whistle.

The boys should be really pleased with the way they played today. They played their little hearts out and I am so very proud of you all. You played your first 50 minute game today and you were truly amazing
