U11 Stingers at the Brighton Festival

Shoreham kicked off the tournament at Brighton RFC with a cracking game against our partners in crime at Haywards Heath! A 3 all draw saw a superb try from Ollie playing his inaugural match followed up by Jack and Ronnie. The second game against Pulborough and Horsham did not go our way on this occasion, but the Stingers showed greater skill and talent enhanced by some fab new players! They all can hold their heads up high! Emerson and Jack (second try of the tournament!) scored against Pulborough. Ollie, Ivy and Marcie played outstanding debuts showing drive, enthusiasm and commitment. Rupert and Ollie shook the opposition with some bone crunching tackles and Archie B named by the coaching team as player of the tournament for all his hard work and involvement! A huge thanks to Evelyn's granddad for being our sponsor today. Pulborough and Horsham certainly threw the gauntlet down - we can't wait for the rematches at the next festival!
