Hastings and Bexhill Festival

Game 1 Pool B Shoreham v Eastbourne 2-3
we got off to a good start with some great Rugby being played, our Tackling and defence was good our new signings Ben Broxup, Louis Blake and Hector Hawkes settled in well and showed some great qualities with there ball handling and tackles . well done , our first try from Noah Smith followed by a try from Louis Blake his first for Shoreham . great stuff the ref even said you all played well to myself and Jon Masters

Game 2 Hastings v Shoreham 0-4
wow this game was fast and fantastic , the boys played the best game ever , the defence was superb and some fantastic tackling , the ball handling was great ,Charlie Kembery had a few good tackles in as did Ashley Calvert Ollie Bushby played some great Rugby the boys played so well which resulted in James Masters scoring 2 tries in first half and second half another try from Noah Smith and Jake Gale . This game was truely fantastic to watch , Boys you made us proud so very well done , you played as a team it proves you can do it , you should all be so proud of yourselves .

Game 3 Shoreham v Heathfield 2nd 1-2
Again this game was good, the effort and Team Work these 9 boys showed true spirit [we had 9 in a team and only 9 boys on the day we had no subs ] on the day only 12 per team was allowed but again some teams had well over the allotted number { also commented on by same ref although i felt maybe something should have been said but we felt the bigger club] and the boys got stuck in and to watch these 9 boys play with hearts of Lions to go out and play with hardly a break showed there commitment to Rugby . The Team worked well together with Jake having a fantastic kick and landing in the safe hands of James Masters the boys tackling was so good and the boys set up Jake Gale to score another try .

Game 4 Shoreham v Heathfield 1 st 0-2
This was a good game we played the 3rd from pool A The boys ran, kicked, tackled, defended but just didnt get to the try line . The boys showed real Team effort and worked so hard in every game , It goes to show our boys had guts and determination although they played every game if they got injured they played on knowing they had no one to go on in there place . Jake took a nasty deliberate stamping on his leg while on the ground but he got up and got stuck in , so well done U11's
