Shoreham 2s vs Littlehampton

The Mighty 2s visit to Littlehampton's new ground on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon stated off with the Shoreham pack dominating the scrum and putting in some huge runs, however the home team managed to get the ball over the line first, but they failed to convert it only getting the five points. However after some very competitive play Shoreham managed to equalize with Daniel Phelps making the try happen. This was then converted by the accurate foot of Toby Reed.

Shoreham’s line out was outstanding and they did not lose a single one and also managed to steal a few. However this did not stop Littlehampton taking the lead again just before half time with a try and subsequent conversion. At the halftime whistle, the score stood at 12-7.

The second half started in much the same way for Shoreham with another early on try for the home team which they were able to convert bringing Littlehampton’s tally to 19. Shoreham were able to claw some points back with a try by Johnathan Lewis and follow on conversion by Reed bringing the score to 19-14 and moving the win to within easy reach for Shoreham. However Littlehampton denied Shoreham the win by scoring another try before fulltime.
