SRFC Ltd invites you to attend an EGM to be held on Monday 12th March at The Crabtree pub, Lancing BN15 9NQ, from 7:30pm until close of meeting.
The meeting has been raised following a proposal request from the Southwick Cricket Club to join forces on the Club house build, which under our constitution needs to be agreed by the members.

o Continue as we are raising all the funds ourselves from whatever revenue streams that are available
o Join forces with Southwick Cricket club to increase availability of funding from ECB
o Stop and let the Cricket club build in the park.

Discussions at the last directors’ meetings favoured option 2 (join forces). As this opens up more avenues of funding and allows us to work together when dealing with the council, whereas option 3 would leave us having to rent the facilities and have no input on the design. If option 1 is the preferred way forward then the committee would need additional support from members to allow us to continue down this route.
This is an opportunity for you to have your own say in the way forward of the project and therefore your attendance at this meeting is vital for us to be able to move forward in the chosen manner.
